Thanks for offering to find the paper for me, Nan. I've come up with a pretty decent alternative. The shipping for 12x12 paper is so expensive. I'm trying to avoid having to ship it.

OK, so today is mail date for these guys. I am basically ready and then I think hmmmm let me just check the first post again and make sure that I am all set...

So I won't be mailing these until tomorrow sometime (hopefully). Of course being last minute, I had to resort to clip art (hope that's ok with everyone) - but they will still be cute - I promise

Ok, I Have a silly mailing question. Do you load up all your baggies,and pack them at the PO or do you go get the boxes and come back and pack it all up????
I think it may take me a while, to make sure everything is going where it need to go,etc.
I live in a very small town-I don't want to be the crazy lady that comes up there with baggies full of who knows what.............and my husband has worked at UPS for 24 years, so I almost feel disloyal LOL- I know I'm obsessing.......Thanks,Vicki

If I have boxes at home I load them up at home- otherwise I take all of my bags and put them in a plastic grocery bag (for each swap if I am mailing off more than one at a time. Inside one oif the larger bags or sometimes in a seperate baggie I will place a hostess gift (if I remember) and my return postage and and addrsss label if I have one. All I have to do is stiuck the grocery bag into the box this way.

I box everything up at home. Since I host swaps I actually order my boxes online and have them delivered so I have a stash in the basement. My PO is super small too, it's in a one room school house to give you an idea of size. LOL So they don't carry a lot of the boxes.

Thanks Rebecca and Buffy, I think I'm good....I have everything labeled and ready to go! I will take the stuff for the tag swap and pick up boxes for everything else. I didn't want to look like a dork with all these baggies!

Ok - so how long is a blade on the cricut supposed to last?

It is totally tearing up my PAPER!!! I just got my bug in January ?

I am trying to cut Bazzill paper, I've tried slow speed, med, high and Max...

Anybody have any words of wisdom?

first off take the blade housing out and check to see it there is a wad of paper stuck in it. If not then you need a new blade. Cutting Bazzill is going to dull the blade faster then regular paper.

I go through blades left and right but other people have the same one 6 months later, it just depends on the person and the paper.

I don't think I will be ready to mail tomorrow, I have 2 DR appts and I have to meet with social services for MIL to be released from rehab soon, so my day is shot.
I am heading out to work on more. however I can't Cricut at night anymore. The noise is waking the baby. I can do hand work though.

Sorry. Forgot to post to this thread that I would without a computer for a few days.

As long as they are in the mail this week, we should be good to go. I'll be home on Thursday to update on what I have and those are still needed.


I usually have boxes at home and do it all there. But I have taken the grocery sack full of stuff and put in a box just like that that.

I go through blades like crazy. I do cut a lot of Bazzill and then I can't cut anything after that without it tearing up. I go through mats too. I'm surprised my Cricut has survived me this long.
