TADS - do you use 2010 or 2009 tax return?

Just got a call from my sister, she was filling the TADS online to apply for financial aid for her son, she was suprised to see the deadline to forward the 1040 to TADS is in February.

In discussing with her, I suspected that they may be expecting to see the 2009 tax return, true?

I haven't done financial aid forms personally (oldest only just hit high school), but my boss has done them the past 2 years. They (financial aid people) want the most recent taxes, i.e. 2010. Your sister needs to get her taxes done for now for the financial aid forms.
