This topic was inspired by a post I made on the thread about Anna Nicole Smith's death.

Do you think the tabaloids write too much about celebrity life?
Do you think the tabaloids offend the celebrities?

Discuss.

Lol, it's spelled tabloids.

I don't have any problems with them. I enjoy reading them. :p

I think the paparazzi can get a little... crazy, though. :p

Well i like to read it but the celebrities might be offened by it. But thats how they get more famous than they are by stuff like that.

Edited. xD

I think the tabloids go too far. If they start getting too much into a person's personal life, it does cause stress for the star.

I mean, just saying, if you got arrested, would you want your story on the front cover? What about in a magazine at all?

I think its just crazy.

celebraties get addicted to the limelight
they MUST be in the newspapers
so in some cases they ask for it

there are celebs who arent like that and i feel sorry for them. the press have very little right to go snooping in peoples private lifes and digging up anything to get the star bad press

Tabloids make my life look normal..

If you're going to be famous, it comes at a cost. They can't expect they won't be written about.

These type of magazines, most often incorrectly refered to as tabloids [tabloid is the type of paper (physical) style), rely on this kind of thing. People love to read it. If celebrities didn't want, or merely expect, to be featured in them, they naively came into the wrong profession. It may stink but it's a part of the job that perhaps shouldn't be, but is and always will be.

If you want to be famous you have to be in the tabloids. It's just what it is. That's how people get there name out there, by doing stupid or good stuff to get there name recognized. I will admit, yes I do read them, and I really don't feel sorry for the celebrities. They might not like it but they should have expected it. When you become famous people become obsessed with your lavish lifestyle...celebrities know what they're getting into when they sign up for the next big film, or release a new album.

It's like you might not like going to school but you expect that you have to go the next morning anyway. But of course you want to be educated so eventually you can get a good job and money...

It's the same thing, I don't think the tabloids go over. It's what the public wants, they're just giving it to them...

i love reading them. but i'd hate to be a star. i would totally keep my life a secret. and not do anything stupid (COUGH COUGH BRITNEY SPEARS) to draw attention to myself.

Famous= Famous.

Whether its good or bad. The stars do get recognized for all the good things they do. People in this world just like to look at the bad more. Its a shame :(

I once watched a thing about Nicole Richie on Tyra, and it was kind of sad. She's short, like me, only about an inch or two taller and these 6 foot guys crowd around her like a wall photographing her.
