Is Tables in Wonderland worth it? I am debating if I should buy it. I am trying to find a list of places I can use. Is there such a thing?

I was looking into it as well. There is a list somewhere and someone will problably post. We don't do much table service at Disney so decided it was not for us.

The break even point for TIW is $500. (If you spend more than that, then you save money.)

Whenever I run the numbers for TIW or DDP, TIW always saves our family more.

I don't know where the list is, but it's been good at every TS we've been to. Not 100% sure, but I think it's at least good at every place that takes DDP and maybe more.

All the info is at www.tablesinwonderland.com

If you have an AP or are a Florida resident or DVC member, it's definitely worth checking out. I am considering getting one, but we're likely going to be there 12/31 and 1/1, both of which are black-out dates. We may not get our money out of it if we can't use it every day.

Thanks Claire, :thumbsup2

This is the info I needed. I can't count the number of times I've been to WDW. Never did Disney Dining. Not worth it to me. I go alone or with my husband. We are not big eater or drinkers. So that would be a waste of money. I just needed to see a list of places TiW is accepted. I can use my annual pass discount at a lot of the same places.

If you have children who are under 10 and you eat most meals than the DDP might be worth it. We used to get the DxDP and it was really worth it for us. DD and I did Cinderella's Castle each time and we did a lot of 2TS meals. With DD being under 10, it really paid off. Now, the kids are older we split up more. DD and I would use all of our meals, but DH and DS did not. That and when I began going multiple times a year we got the TIW card has really paid off for us.

Plus, not having to figure out the tip is a bonus.

And that's why it's so important to know what you usually do and to know where things are accepted. For us, there were only two places on the AP list where we were dining this time, and both places I wanted the option to order alcohol, and of course the AP discount doesn't cover that but TIW does. For us, the TIW card worked much better than AP or DVC discount. For you it's opposite! :)

For our upcoming trip, it isn't worth it for us to purchase TIW.

You need to spend close to $500 on table service to break even on the cost.

Remember that there are QS places on the list. Value food courts including the *incredible* one at AOA, the QS place at SSR, Sassagoula at POFQ, and QS inside Animal Kingdom park.

Yes, very few CS places. Not enough for us to benefit.
