its a discount card for most table service restaurants. Gets you 20% off your food and drinks (including alcohol) but 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill.

TIW is available for annual pass holders, Florida residence, and DVC members (coming soon)

We got it this year with the AP's and LOVE it. The DDP was too much food so this is better for ordering just what you want at a TS restaurant and at some CS places as well. It basically encourages you to stay at a MOD or Value since those are the hotel CS restaurants where TIW works.

You have to run the numbers though, as it is $75 and you have to have the AP's as the PP said.

There are also some exclusions, but not too many.

It is available to DVC members now, but it is less for AP holders ($100 for DVC, $75 for AP holders.)

We just bought it on our trip in March. It is good until the end of April 2013 so we will be using it again in August and next March! :thumbsup2

You can google search for a list of participating restaurants. It only available at a few (very limited) counter service locations. It is primarily for TS meals. It will save you 20% off your food and alcohol total. However, if you use it, an automatic 18 % gratuity is added so really you are pretty much saving the tip.

As the others mentioned, it is only available to Florida residents, AP holders and DVC members.
We will be purchasing the card for our upcoming trip.

ETA) It works in the value food courts, but last I checked the only mod food court it worked at was POFQ. Presumably because this is the only moderate resort without it's own table service restaurant.

It is also accepted in a lot of the Resort lounges. We have had it the last several years and really love it. We're not DDP people at all.

Someone did a big analysis and I think the break even point was about $500 or so. If you can get two trips out of it even better. We also used it on a trip with 6 adults and it paid for itself the first couple of days.

If you purchase the TIW card can you use the 20% off discount with the discounts you get from being DVC members? Or is it one or the other?
