Did I read somewhere that now being offered to dvc owners without a purchase of an annual pass? If so, is it available now for purchase?

I thought I read the same thing. I thought it was one of the new perks mentioned at the DVC meeting in December. But I randomly got a TIW brochure in the mail yesterday which did not include an option for DVC. We are headed down in April and I was hoping to get one then.

I wasn't there, but all reports say that Clair Bilby announced at the annual condo meeting that DVC Members would be able to purchase the TiW card without needing to have an AP.

There is still no word on when it will be available or the price.

On the DVCnews website it states that it will become available to DVC members sometime in 2012. A starting date wasn't announced at the meeting.

I've seen a few posts here in the past day or two from people who called MS to ask about this. The response from MS was "It's just a rumor". They don't have any information yet.

Where can I find the latest list of restaurants that accept the TIW? Going in Feb and was going to purchase an AP to get the TIW. i wish it would become available for DVC members asap. I am very happy they are doing this.

I love the idea of purchasing TIW without the annual pass -

I cAlled member services the other day after my post manly because I am arriving on Monday so if it was available I would have purchased one. So, the lady at ms didn't know anything about it so she transferred me to a supervisor who DID confirm this is true, HOWEVER, they don't have an actual date set for this card. Oh well maybe I'll purchase one next year

My AP expires in a few weeks so I'm torn to get the TiW now...or wait it out and hope to get it as a DVC member before our June trip.

I suspect it will be more than the $75 AP rate.

I bet it will be closer to the Florida Resident price of $100.

If you don't have a trip now, wait until you need it. The expiration is based on when you buy it, not when you buy the AP.
