This year I MIGHT have the good fortune to go to WDW twice,
(maybe 3 ) times in one 365 day period.

So ... I might change my park ticket that I already have, into an annual pass when I get to WDW in December.

Most of the time I will be solo.

Do you think it will be worthwhile for me to get a Tables in Wonderland pass for dining ??

Depends how many days each trip is for. Also depends if you like to eat at a lot of TS restaurants rather than doing CS. It gets more worthwhile if you like to have alcohol with your meals as you also get a discount on that.

I'm thinking you'd still get a good benefit out of the TiW card even though you are a solo diner, especially if you get 3 trips in. ::MinnieMo

Gratuities are included once you use the TiW card, so the 20% discount you get is now added back as the Tip

Can't get AP or DVC discounts either when using the TiW

We got it for our family as most TS are only 10% for Discount with AP
So family of 5 and 20% off works great for us.

Do you drink wine or cocktails in the lounges and/or restaurants? We always have a drink before dinner in a lounge and usually a glass of wine with dinner. The 20% discount on alcohol saves us lots on money.

Yes it could be worth it depending on how many days total you would be at WDW. I did it back in 2005 & 2006 total of 16 days and I travel solo. So now with the increase in cost on both the WIT and AP I would need to stay at least 20 days total in order to have a savings. I do drink but not much.

I’m also planning on going down 3 times in a year, buying an annual pass and to use Tables in Wonderland.

It really depends on your plans if it worthwhile. If you plan to eat at table service often it might be a good option, even if you don’t drink.

The cost of Tables in Wonderland is $75.00, so with a 20% discount you would need to spend over $375.00 to see any benefit. At $15-$25 per meal it would be almost 19 meals.

So if you will be at WDW for more than 3 weeks total and plan to have more than one table service meal a day, it might not be worth it.

If you think you'll spend more than $375 on eligible meals, it'll be worth it. If not, it won't be.

Take a look at the eligible restaurants. If I remember correctly, TIW is accepted at some counter service restaurants like Pop Century foodcourt.

It's accepted at only nine CS restaurants - the four value resort food courts, POFQ food court, SSR counter service, and three of the CS at the Animal Kingdom park.
