Happy New Year Everyone! From my understanding, Tables used to be Disney Dining Experience. If I'm correct, has anything changed other than the name?:confused3 If anyone has the info. on this, please help me out. We'll be leaving for WDW at the end of Feb. and I seem to remember having to wait a few weeks for the card to arrive in the mail. Thanks!!!

The name change is the latest change. You can also get the card at any of the guest service locations in the parks or at DTD.

There is also an automatic gratuity of 18% for those using the card now. That is a change that is one year old already, but worth noting in case you weren't aware of it.

(We do ask that any discussion about the gratuity be limited to the Disney Tipping Info Thread. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1870320)

Hope this helps you a bit.:goodvibes

One other change I discovered is that you can no longer order the card using an exchange certificate for your AP. You have to have an actual AP to get the card.

Also, they are no longer issuing the hard credit card type of cards. The new cards are made out of the same paper as APs. The CM told us it was part of their greening initiative.

An added note on the automatic gratuity - it only applies to TS. No gratuity is added for CS.

Enjoy your trip!
