Does anyone have a link to an updated list of restaurants taking the 20% TiW discount this year?

I've been having such a hard time finding one.

They're all the same in 2010 as they were in 2009. At least nobody has yet reported back that they were denied use of the discount at a previously accepting restaurant. TIW doesn't change much if at all. Even awhile back when SSR and AK added table service restaurants, they didn't take the counter service ones there off the list and TIW is still good at the counter services at SSR and AK.

I think there was some observation that Sanaa and Kouzzina aren't on the 2009 list, but both are Disney-owned restaurants and both accept TIW.

Do you all have TiW? We would definitely use the 20% off but I heard that they add on a 18 or 20% tip regardless of service or number of people. Would this even be worth it?

18% tip (20% for Victoria & Alberts) is automatically added to all TIW checks at table service restaurants, including buffets, and bars/lounges. Whether you think it is worth it will depend on how much you usually tip. To have it reduced for bad service you would have to ask for a manager. (Please, no discussion of tipping preferences or habits. Tipping discussion should be referred to the Tipping Information sticky thread at the top of the main Restaurants board.

Here is a working example, using $100.00 as the original bill to make the math show up easily.

100.00 - Original Amount
20.00 - Discount
80.00 - Subtotal
18.00 - Gratuity Added based on $100
5.20 - Sales Tax on $80
103.20 - Final amount charged, takes into consideration discount, gratuity and tax.

Without TiW Discount (and still figuring 18% Gratuity)

100.00 - Amount of Bill
18.00 - Gratuity
6.50 - Sales Tax on $100
124.50 - Total
$21.30 - Savings using TiW Card.

(Note - At Victoria and Albert's the added gratuity is 20% instead of 18%.)
