For those of you who have it, do you consider it worth the price and can you use it on packages, such as the candlelight processional dinner package?
Thanks for the input! I agree with you on the DDP because I can't eat that much and seldom order dessert. It seemed to be a waste. We do use the AP discount when we can, but it is usually only 10% and only valid Mon-Fri at some places. I didn't realize you could use the TiW for alcohol, which is a big plus. I also am not concerned with the 18% because I'm a good tipper and will usually tip 20%.This is my first year with an AP and the TiW card and couldn't be happier with it. I had done my previous few trips on the DDP and had been growing unhappy with it, and found myself eating things I normally wouldn't eat just because it was included. I never eat desert at lunch when I'm not on the plan, and at diner there are times I'd rather have an appetizer over desert depending on what restaurant we are are.
I loved the flexibility of the TiW card. I no longer felt like I was eating just to make the DDP worth it. I occasionally like to have a glass of wine or a cocktail with my dinner and it was great that we got the discount off of that too. I had played with the numbers before buying it and knew that I'd make back my money on my first trip using it, and that was with just two adults. My March trip and my upcoming October trip will be pure savings.
I have no desire to go back to using the DDP. This works out so much better for how I like to eat while I'm on vacation. I'll have to be sure to plan my trips the next time in the same year so I can justify another AP and TiW card.
Don't forget too that if you are staying at a value resort, or at POFQ you can use your TiW card at the food courts there because they don't have a sit down restaurant.

No. Only at TS (including buffets).I completly understand and agree witht eh 18% for sit down meals, but do they add a 18% tip to your bill when you are using it at one of the resort food court / counter services? If they do then I have a problem.
