I've looked everywhere for the answer to this and can't seem to find it anywhere.
The TIW pass- is that a yearly membership? And when does it begin? From date of purchase or date of first use?

We'll be Florida residents soon and wanted to purchase one.

ALSO- does anyone know if I have dinner with 10 adults and 2 kids, am I allowed to use the 20% off the 10 adults and only pay full price on the kids or will they automatically take off the kids discount first so that I pay more money? Thanks!

13 months and it is active as soon as it is purchased.

Yes, you can decide which meals to put or not put on the discounted check.

Thanks! 13 months- that's very random but it's actually exactly what I need so YAY :)

Actually it is more than 13 months. You get the balance of the current month plus 13 full months, with it expiring on the last day of a month.

And when you first are seated, tell your server than you want separate checks and specify which people will be on which check. You can only apply the TiW discount to one check, so all the kids (or those with cheaper meals) should be on the non-TiW check.

Want to make sure I have this right - so if I bought a TIW pass October 22 2012, it should be good until November 30 2013? Thanks!!

what if my annual pass expires before the TIW card expires? Do both have to be valid. Example I buy the TIW 2 days before my AP expires.

I need to know this too.... annual pass will expire.... can we still use the TIW?

You can purchase the TiW Card as late as the day your AP expires. To buy it you must be a Florida Resident, DVC Member, or Annual Passholder. However, once it is purchased you can lose your purchase eligibility but the card will still be valid until its expiration date.

We used the TIW card a few years ago when we were married in Disneyt (2008). I know it is only supposed to be good for a limited amount of people but we used it in 'Ohana for 16 people and Cape May Cafe for breakfast for 22 people and they took the discount for everyone. I am sure this is not the case all the time - but just wanted to let you know.

Linda
