Is the 20% discount available at the Crystal Palace? We are thinking of doing the character breakfast if we can get a good time.

Sure wish we could make our March ressies now- so I would have to stop thinking of new places to go. ;)

Can I order my card through mail? (we are Florida residents)

I cant find anything in writing on Disney's site. :(

Wait until you arrive in WDW and go to any Guest Services at the parks or DTD and get your card. Since it expires 1 year from the date it's issued, you don't want to order it by mail and have it start losing time before you get to use it.

And yes, it can be used at Crystal Palace. Here's a list of the current places it can be used:

Here's the most current list of restaurants participating in Tables in Wonderland. Print this page for future reference.

I got that list from the Florida Resident's section of the disneyworld.com website. The link is too long to post, plus you have to enter your zip code to get to that section, so just go to http://www.disneyworld.com, click on Florida Residents (it's in tiny letters at the very top of the page on the right, directly above the search box). Enter your zip code (I used MILs) A page will open that says "Welcome Florida Resident". Below that choose "Food and Beverage Discounts"....then on the next page it will begin to describe Disney Dining Experience (the new name is Tables in Wonderland, just changed this week, but not all the website pages are showing that). There is a "show more" tab and that's where I found the list I posted above.

Oh and just to tell you OUR favorite time for Crystal Palace.....as close to 8am as you can get (we seem to always get 8:05 so that might be the first time slot).

Reason is that it gets you into the park typically one hour before the park opens (check the calendar to be sure you don't go on a morning EMH date). Walking down Main Street when it's empty (or there are only 1 or 2 other families) is spectacular. Getting photos of your family in front of the castle with no one else in the background is priceless.

Bring along your ADR # to the gate and they'll let you scan your ticket in and go in ahead of everyone waiting for the park to open. We've gotten to go in as early as 20 minutes before our ADR.....giving us more than enough time for some absolutely great photos.

(check the calendar to be sure you don't go on a morning EMH date). .

Actually our thought was to go on our first day, which IS a morning EMH day, but since we arent staying onsite, it gives us a way to get in earlier and be prepared to hit the rides at 9am.

I hope that makes sense? We figured we would be half way to our rides, and since there will be others already in the park, every minute will help :)

Well, the reason I said don't go on EMH is that Main Street and the Hub around the castle will have plenty of people, so that blows the "empty park" photos.

While I'm sure some families eat faster than we do, we have never gotten out of a character meal in less than an hour.....so if the park opens to the regular guests at 9am, you'll be joining them as they come in. Now of course, I realize not everyone goes to the character meals for the characters, so if you're plan is to go and eat and be out of there quickly, then you may have a few extra minutes on the rides before the regular guests arrive (I don't know whether they do any checking of resort keys if you're already in the park at the restaurant.....though I doubt it).

I do seem to recall that even with our 8:05 reservation there was a bit of a wait to get inside, though I can't tell you how long because we passed the time taking pictures (the photopass guy was out too) and just being happy we were there, lol.

Getting out of the restaurant before 9 would make for a quick way to be at the Fastpass machines before most of the throngs coming in that's for sure!
