Tables in Wonderland Card - buying a cake?

We are thinking about getting a TIW card this trip and are also ordering a cake for our 14th anniversary while we are eating at 'Ohana. I know we will get a 20% discount on our meal, but do we also get the 20% discount on the cake? Thanks!!

Yes, they will take the discount off the cake, BUT your automatic gratuity will be on the total cost of the meal including the cake. It still works out better, but you will end up leaving a nice tip! At least, that was my experience at 1900 Park Fare with a custom cake.

My response would be...it depends. We had 2 meals with cakes last fall and used the TIW card. One took the 20% off the cake as well as the meal the other did not.
