Tables in Wonderland and Pre-pay

How does a Tables in Wonderland card work for reservations that you have to pre-pay (as example Cinderella Royal Table or the Spirit of Aloha). You're paying now, however, the event doesn't occur until you get there. Do you show them the Tables in Wonderland card then and get a credit back on your card or is it not applicable?

I believe you just need to show your TiW card to your server and they will issue a credit to your CC for the discount. You could call/email the Tables in Wonderland group and verify with them. Phone: (407) 566-5858 email: WDW.Tables.In.Wonderland@disney.com

For dinner shows like the Spirt of Aloha and Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, the TiW discount is only valid on the last show of the evening.

As I recall for Hoop-Dee-Do Review, we paid the discounted price and I was told to show the TIW card when I picked up the tickets.

At Cinderellas Royal Table we pre-paid the full amount and got a credit when we showed the TIW card.

I was curious about this as well. We were going to buy the Tiw on our trip 2 weeks ago, but decided not to since we didn't eat enough sit downs meals. The castle was one of them and that would've covered about half the amount of the card, but I was also very curious what they did for prepay events. Will probably get one next time.

My DD PIF for CRT when she made the ADR and when we arrived, I showed my TIW card and a credit was issued to DD CC. It was done quickly and easily

I recently was at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. I had to show them my TIW card before the show and they credited my credit card for the discount. TIW is only available for the last show at HDDR each day if I am not mistaken. TIW is awesome!!! So is the discount for the PAP. I have never been happier with DVC .

It depends on your eating habits. TIW has always worked best for us. The DDP makes us feel like we are running from one meal to the next and eating too much. We don't like eating out for every meal.

I suggest you contact TIW to get the definitive answer. I plan on purchasing the TIW card on our March trip and made reservations at HDD. We have reservations for the 8:30 show, assuming as in the past the last show of the night is the one with the discounts. We were going to that show time anyway, but here is the response from TIW about the changes to the HDD discount

Please note for Hoop Dee Doo, the current show times are 5:00pm, 7:15pm, and 9:30pm, with the TIW discount only at the 9:30pm show. On September 30, 2012 the show times will change to 4:00pm, 6:15pm and 8:30pm. From September 30, 2012 to March 7, 2013, the TIW discount will be at the 8:30pm show. Then on March 8, 2013 - August 31, 2013, the TIW discount will change to the 4:00pm show. Then on September 1, 2013 - October 27, 2013 the TIW discount will change back to the 8:30pm show. Dates after October 27, 2013 have yet to be decided when the TIW discount will be. Please confirm this with the Disney Dining cast member when you are making your reservation.

As noted above, I was instructed that I could get my discount refunded to me by showing my card.

I booked CRT before I got my TIW card. When we went to dinner, I showed my card, I was given a choice of either getting a credit on my cc or a Disney Gift card, I took the gift card.

I love the TIW, and usually think of it as my "free tip" card. Hoop-dee-doo is an especially nice place to use it, though, as the server's tip is included in the ticket price. TIW still gives you the full 20% off the ticket price.

I never realized it was restricted to certain show times. I guess we're just lucky that we've always booked the last show in the past.
