Tablemate question

On our last cruise on the Wonder we had a table for 4 - just our family of 4. Is there a way to request this before the cruise? I could probably ask my TA to add it to my reservation. What are my chances? By the way - Dont think bad of me - I'm not a snob or unfriendly. I'm horribly shy around strangers.

I believe you can request to be at a small or large table, and they'll try to accomodate you. I don't think they can make any promises, though.

Ask your TA to call DCL and add it to your request. Then, when you board, get your dining tickets from your stateroom and take them to "dining changes." Ask them if you have a table for just your family, and if not, ask them to move you.

We haven't always gotten our requests in advance, but have always gotten them once we are on board.

Yes, you can absolutely request to your TA.., that you would like just your family at a table.. they will accomodate you..

Hi WDWgirls,

Just to let you know, on my second cruise with my Mom and Nana, we requested to be at a table of 8, and it ended up just being the 3 of us (at this huge table) so depending on how full the ship is, you might be seated alone anyways.

If it's a really big concern, I'm sure Disney will find a way to accomodate you!

You can also check upon embarkation using your card and see if the corresponding table number has 4 or more seats. IF so, you can go to Dining Room Changes (it was at Session in October), and request a table for 4. This may or may not be possible, it may change your rotation or dining time - but they do try their best!

Same for requesting servers - you can always ask for your favorite and again, if possible, they do try to accomodate you!

It's a busy and hectic time to do it, so hat's off to the Head Servers for this and DCL for offering it!

PS - There are times when you can request another table if you are having difficulty with the assigned tablemates. Generally, NOT a problem though! OR you can link your reservation with another cruiser and have preselected dining mates!!!!

Though we didn't ask, we were given a table for just us four. I think it may have been because we had last seating, which doesn't include as many children -- perhaps they try to seat the children separately?
