Table Size Trouble

I read somewhere in a past thread that it was possible to get large tables for groups.

I called DCL and confirmed that my party of 11 had our reservations linked. I requested a large table together and she said that it was impossible to request a table larger than 8 and that the largest tables on the ship would only seat 10.

She said that she couldn't even be sure that we'd be at only two tables (we could be split-up into even more).

HELP! What do I do?

I would call back and get another CM as our table was set for 13, we were originally 13 and 1 cancelled. We all sat together at one large table.

Be sure to call back or have your travel agent call.

We are a group of 25-family and friends. We were able to get a table for 10 and then another table of 7 and another table for 8 in the same area. We wanted to make sure we would be able to switch tables during dinner if needed and still keep the same waiters. The table for 8 is on another server team but still near us. We are on the Nov. 1st cruise and this was just confirmed by our travel agent yesterday. Hopefully it will work out for you too.

We had a group of 16 plus three other people, and at Lumerie's, we were all at one table (19 of us). At the other restaurants, we were split between 3 tables. It was actually nice - we could change how we wanted to sit every night - one night my sister and ate at a table with just our parents, one night we borrow the two older kids, one night all the grandparents sat together. But the three tables were all together, so all we had to do was turn slightly to see the rest of our group.

There are at least 3 tables in the dining rooms that seat 12, because I've sat at them: 73, 23, and I don't know the 3rd #--it wasn't assigned. If need be, they can break the tables down into smaller sizes, but we've done 2 cruises on the Wonder where we were seated together.
