Table Service with Outdoor Dining

Is there a list anywhere of which table service restaurants have outdoor dining? I'd prefer to not eat indoors if we can help it, so we'd like to book those with outdoor dining whenever possible.

There's more options in Downtown Disney, but for the in parks dining, your options will be more limited. Lamplight Lounge has SOME, but you aren't always able to make requests. Riverbelle Terrace has an outdoor patio too. Carnation Cafe does, but it doesn't reopen until September 16th and it's number of outdoor tables is very limited and also not always able to be requested. Plaza Inn does, but it's quick service for lunch and dinner and reservations for breakfast. I think Carthay Circle in DCA does too. That's the only ones I know of for sure with outdoor seating.

I also have to say, I’ve seen this “not guaranteed to be seated outside” thing come up on several threads.

But honestly, I am pretty sure they’ll accommodate you if you check in and very pleasantly and politely say something like, “We don’t want to be a problem, but we chose to eat here because of the outdoor dining, which is where we’d like to be seated for health and safety reasons. It’s very important to us, and we are prepared to wait if needed.”

Even if they respond back that it’s “not guaranteed” because that’s the official line, I have a hard time imagining them responding to that by taking you to sit at an indoor table. Unless they’re just in some kind of chaos/crisis mode when you arrive and someone’s not paying attention…

Quick add, we have seen Wine Country close the outside portion during a rainy evening. This limits to the inside and yes, it's crisis time as there just isn't enough capacity. It can get VERY loud in there. Highly suggest you check-in and ask to cancel your reservation without penalty and move to plan B, if this ever happens.

Maybe this is the case at any outdoor table service spots. Just haven't encountered others.

Dining indoors at Wine Country is definitely a negative. You are either near the kitchen or next to the big parties (aka loud). I have never specified a preference or complained, but I'd avoid it if I could. Even requesting and waiting for an outdoor seat.

We've been asked at Cafe Orleans if we had a preference. But we have always sat outside, whether or not we specified. They always seem to accommodate if you are willing to wait.

You can reserve the Carthay Circle "Alfresco Dining." I believe it's a different menu than the restaurant. The seating is to the side near Disney Junior stage

DTD has lots of outdoor dining & easy to come by - we had great luck with even walking up to Napoli & Tortilla Jo's. I particularly like Napoli because of the trees outside

Carthay Circle Al Fresco

Lamplight Lounge - this spot is great because most of the restaurant is outdoors and I love the view!

My bad! apologies - fixing the above!

No need to apologize! I did specifically ask about table service, but knowing where counter service is available is helpful too. I assumed most would be outdoors but I don't remember exactly. It's been about 6 years since I've been to DLR.
