Can a table service meal be traded for quick service? I know quick service doesn't equal a table service but what about the other way around??

I know during Free Dining, that you can do this. Most people exchange at the resort CS location. Some other CS places in the parks may be able to exchange a TS credit for CS.

We're using the Dining Plan in September for the 1st time and I think the question asked is my same question! Is a quick service the same as a counter service? We're paying for the dining plan and now wondering if it's going to be worth it for us. We've only found 3 TS meals that are MUST do's for the kids and we have 6 with our plan.
We can exchange those other 3 TS meals for counter service meals?

We were able use a TS for a QS meal in May - But we were told that we could only do it at the resort food court - The computer systems in the Parks are not able to convert them.

Reports suggest you can do that at resort food courts... BUT

You said you are paying for the ddp?
If you are paying for it, then you are paying about $30 for each TS credit and $15 for each CS credit. CS meals typically run in the $10-$20 range.

Thus if you traded 3 TS for 3 CS, you would wasting alot of money.

It would be significantly cheaper to skip the ddp, and just pay for your meals.

There are reports that it was allowed everywhere during free dining when free dining was first offered during the August-September time period and the restaurants were swamped. They're not so swamped anymore, free dining is offered during quite a lot of the year this time, and there are reports that park CS restaurants may not accept TS credits. You may be more likely to be able to make that trade at a resort CS. It's a one for one trade, no extras.

Thank you for your replies! I'm learning! ;)
We've decided to drop the ddp since we would waste alot of money!
