Where do you recommend for a family who has been several times but is used to character meals, and buffets and places that are good dining plan value. All of the normal places are out the window. I guess this is a good time to try out some NEW places and places that are good - non dining plan value. I am thinking Kona maybe? I have always wanted to eat at Sanaa but i dont know that my kids and parents would be into it.

Where do you recommend?

Whispering Canyon comes to mind as well - excellent food. Our last visit in December is the first we have had in a while without the Dining Plan and I found it to be a good value if paying cash.

Kona was great during our last visit! Food and service were terrific
Kona was the first place i thought of. I love going to the poly too, we just always go to ohana because its so good and on the dining plan a better value.

Highly suggest Sana’a. Animals literally outside the window as you eat. Excellent food. The bread service is a must. Great for kids. I’d also suggest Whispering Canyon Cafe. The skillets are amazing.
I have always wanted to eat at Sanaa, one of my daughters is a picky eater though and i am not sure about my parents. I might have to just look at the menu and see if there is something she might like on it.

The Butter Chicken on the kid's menu is really good at Sanaa.

I know there's a burger on the kids menu. I thought I'd never like it and now Sanna is one of my favs. I'm not a spicy food person at all, but I was fine.

good info thanks! Also I had forgotten about that butter chicken that people rave about. I think Sanaa would work for our group after all. Plus i love going to animal kingdom lodge!

My 18 year son always orders the flatbread pizza from the children's menu at Sanaa. He loves it.

Make sure you get the bread service....
