I will be going in March with my 5 year old son, and can't decide on our table service dining.

I've already booked Garden Grill and Ohana for breakfast, but I have two more options to choose. We'll be doing Epcot 2 days (arrival night - Garden Grill, plus one other day), and each other park once. He's a very finicky eater so I have to be careful of our choices. I'm a total food geek, so I'm not really big on burgers & chicken tenders for every meal. I'm also trying to stay away from buffets so that I don't have to leave him alone at the table, or leave our table unattended while we fill plates. (Not that they are completely ruled out, but it's just a preference.)

Tusker House is a possibility for breakfast on AK day, but wondered if anyone had suggestions for something different? We've done Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace (this one is a possibility also), Mama Melrose, Kona, Le Cellier, 1900 Park FAre. I'm really considering Chefs of France, but wonder how kid friendly this would be.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I took my niece when she was almost 5 and one of her favorite places was Coral Reef. We were seated right next to the aquarium. While I know that some people have complained about the food, my meal was excellent and my niece cleaned her plate so hers couldn't have been bad either!

Chefs is very kid friendly but we like the food better at Rose & Crown. We used to enjoy Coral Reef but our last few visits have been mediocre and the kids hated their choices.

Tusker House is our favorite character breakfast.

Hello!!! I'm in your exact same boat in April! I'm taking our 5-year-old son for a few days on my own. We're a family of 5, and we love signatures, Garden Grill, Ohana for breakfast, etc. But it's just the two of us in April, so I had to think about ADRs a little differently.

For breakfast, we enjoy Tusker, but it would be more difficult juggling plates and the buffet is pretty large. Ohana is a great choice and avoids all of that juggling. I'm planning to just grab a quick breakfast in the morning and then I made lunch and dinner ADRs for each day.

In case it helps, here's our plan:

Lunch: Chef's de France. All our boys love it there, from our pickiest eater to our most adventurous. Kid favorites: the mini burgers and the chicken strips. My favorites: quiche and cheese plate. We've been there several times for lunch, and we like the light, bright atmosphere, friendly service and the fun with Remy!

Dinner: San Angel Inn. This fell out of our rotation before our youngest son was born. For the whole family, I'd go with La Hacienda, but with just the two of us, I thought SAI would be fun. Our 5-year-old loves Mexican food and always asks about San Angel when we're on the Three Caballeros ride.

Lunch: Plaza. Good food, near the castle, relatively quick and simple for a table service location. Allows me to avoid burgers and fries and the CS lines in MK.

Dinner: Yak and Yeti. I love Y&Y for lunch - great menu and festive atmosphere. So I thought dinner here would be a good choice and wouldn't require much travel time.

Lunch: Sci Fi. We used to go here more frequently, but it dropped out of our rotation in favor of Brown Derby and 50s. At Sci Fi, it's tough for five of us to interact in the Sci Fi cars. And while I'm not a fan of dinner at Sci Fi, I think lunch is pretty good. With just two of us, I thought it would be fun.

Dinner: Le Cellier. Had to fit in a signature, and thought this would be a good choice - doesn't take any travel time, is relatively quick and we missed it on our last two non-park visits. Our youngest likes the pretzel bread.

Lunch: Kona. I really like the menu at Kona, and it's an easy monorail ride away from MK.

Good luck with your decision and have a great trip!!:wizard:
