Hi everyone:

Just wondering about dinners. Our TA requested that we be at a table of 8. There will be me, hubby, daughter, and son 19 months. Question: Do we have to wait for the other people to arrive before ordering? Do we have to wait for them to finish their entrees before getting our meal? This wouldn't be a problem if it was only the two of us, but with the kids, I don't want them to have to wait . How long does dinner usually take?
Anyone have any problems with this?

Thanks

No, you do not have to wait. We had occassions last year when out tablemates showed up very late and we went ahead and ordered.

Why a table of eight?? We request a table of four and got a table for four. It was great, we spent time as a family, you may want to see if you can request a table of four.

When do you make the request?

We made it at time of reservation and I call two months before the trip to DCL to confirm that the request is there. Once on the ship I asked at the place where you can make changes for dineer assigment and confirmed that it was a table for 4.

Our TA (my Cousin) was given the choice of a table for 6 or a table of 8. A table of 4 would be nice. It would probably be the only time of the day, other than sleeping that we would all be together.
