Table pin spotting

Has anyone used this option for their table settings? The table spotting lights the tables from within but I am curious to what color or type of table clothes that limits you to. We are thinking of doing this and having the lighting drwan down alittle to create a more romantic mood.

Sounded like a really interesting concept but i would imagine you are limited to colours that would work well. i.e no black maybe?
