table names and placecards

I am having my wedding on oct 21 at the boardwalk. i think my colors will be yellow brown and white. i really wanted a fun theme to my reception but, we dont want it to disney. I am haing everyone a mickey hat embroidered eith their name as there name card at the table but, i dont know how to name the tables???? and what kind of theme i could do.????

we are using our favorite disney characters in black and with. put in silver frames. i have heard that people name them after places the couple have been, thought that was cute.

You could also name the tables different colors. (Yellow Table, Green Table, etc.) Or you could name them after Flowers. (Rose Table, Daisy Table, etc.) Depending on what theme you go with, the possibilities are endless. Example, you do "Wish upon a Star" you could go with different constilations. (Big Dipper, Little Dipper, etc.) If you like movies, you could go with a different movie title at each table or if you like Music, you could do either a different song or musical instrument. I know you said that you didn't want it to be "disney", but we named our tables after famous disney couples - all the princesses, bambi and faline, pongo and perdita, etc.

if it was a guy, on their place card it said "you are seated with faline"
for a girl, "you are seated with bambi"

etc. it was cute...
