TA and ME?

We booked our upcoming trip to WL (Dec 7-11) though a Disney specialist TA. We have not gotten our ME tags yet. Our TA is on vacation until Nov 23. Do the tags come from her or from Disney? Do you think I need to call and check on them or just wait for her to get back in? (Yes, I am a neurotic planner)

I am going 12/5 - 12/12 and my ME tags came a week ago. I would call DME to check. I believe they come straight to you and don't go to the TA, but I'm not positive. For your own peace of mind, call and check. If they tell you they were sent to your TA, at least you'll know to wait for her to get back before worrying too much.
 
They get sent to your TA and are then sent on to you.

We were worried when we went in September because our tags hadn't arrived. It turned out that Disney mailed them, but they got lost. So the TA had them resend and we received them the week we left.

Worse case scenario they can send them to you express mail.

Disney sends them to the TA first, TA forwards to you. Is there anyone else at the agency you can contact?
 

If your TA is on vacation, odds are good that she has another agent covering for her. I would either call and see if she has a message on her voice mail or email her to see if she has a vacation response with the name of the agent who is available to help her clients.

I know that my TA always has someone cover her and usually travels with her laptop as well.

That might be the best way to see if your tags have been sent.

I know that we hold them in the office and call when ALL documents are in. (we dont give out just some of them). Try calling and speaking to another TA. They can call and make sure the ME tags have been sent out to their office.
