T2 Questions

Since Kong has closed , T2 has moved up to second in my list of favorite Universal Studios attractions (just behind MIB). When I attended T2 last month, the attraction seemed even better than I had remembered. Does anyone know if the theater effects have been significantly enhanced since the attraction originally opened?

Also, are all the actors in the film the same as from the original T2 movie? Clearly, that's Arnold and Robert Patrick, but I wasn't sure if the Sarah Connor and John Connor characters were played by Linda Hamilton and Ed Furlong. Also, did James Cameron direct the film in the attraction?

T2 has all the players from the movie. Even James Cameron directed it.

As for being enhanced, I haven't noticed any. Some effects may not have been working when you saw it last.

We saw T2 several times during its first week of opening - at least I think it was the first week, my memory could be playing tricks on me, but it was certainly very early on - and some of the effects failed during some of the shows.

The only difference I see now is the audience appreciation. Being a new attraction everyone went absolutely <b><i><font size=4>wild</font></i></b> - a far cry from the polite applause I've witnessed since.
