Monday 26th November IOA and Universal
Woke up later than we intended, but still managed to get to IOA by 9:00.
As we were walking through City Walk, we stopped and made a reservation for Mythos for noon. We have eaten here before and wanted to have the signature pudding again.( just to make sure it was still up to standard, you understand.
The park was very quiet and the Hulk was a walk on, as was Spiderman.
We even got to go on The Pteranadon Flyers for the first time ever! This was the only queue at about 20mins. So I can see why it is normally children only.
Theresa went on Duelling Dragons ( Theresa said it was really scary walking through the dark queuing area on her own, it was very empty and, as there was no one else for her to follow, it was difficult for her to find her way). I tried to get a picture of her (no luck but I like the shots anyway).
We did all the rides in Seuss Landing and than went for lunch in Mythos.
Again this is going to be in Theresa’s review and all I can say is that this has not been voted the top theme park restaurant in the world for 5 years running for nothing.
After lunch we managed to waddle over to Universal which was just as quiet. We did T2, MIB ( twice on the single ride line, walk on), Jaws, Shrek & Jimmy Neutron.
Theresa went on the Mummy while I took some photos and the guy on the stilts was standing still by the exit when she came out and frightened the B’Jesus out of her.
There was a group of young lads standing nearby who nearly wet them-selves laughing.
After the park we went to Wal Mart on the way back to Sevilla and got some bread, sticky chicken and fruit for tea and put the leftovers in the lock-offs fridge for breakfast.
Another hot day without any sprinkles.
