First off, let me say that I admire all of you "creative people." I have no business on a board that uses the word creative, so I will ask my question and leave this kind of stuff to those who can handle it! :flower3:

Can anyone give me advice on making my own t-shirt transfers? I have used some before that fell to pieces within hours of putting it on the shirt and I don't like the ones that you can see the edges of the transfer really easily on the shirt either. Has anyone got advice on the best transfers to use? I appreciate any help you can give me!! Thanks!

Hi Lorri!!!

I'm going to move this thread to the Creative DISisgns forum. We have a whole forum dedicated to t-shirts and transfers. I'm sure someone there can help you get the answers you need!

Here is a link to tips on the whole iron on transfer application...

As far as transfers go, there are many different brands out there and everyone has a different favorite here on the boards but after almost two years of searching, I have found what I believe to be the best dark transfers on the market. See my webpage for details (link below)

Remember that when choosing a transfer:
In light transfers - all white areas of the design will be clear (color of the shirt you are putting it on)

and in dark transfers - all white areas of the design will be white.

I hope this helps!
