T shirt transfer help needed!

help! The color of my shirts are showing through the transfer when I iron them on. I made sure I have transfer paper for dark fabrics, and I am using the parchment paper included in the package. What am I doing wrong? Is the iron too hot? Am I pressing too hard?

The directions say 20 seconds on cotton for each press.

Wish I had a suggestion. I am doing mine tomorrow. Looks like maybe you didn't need to hold them there as long. Not sure.

Ended up tinkering with heat and time and it ended up being too much heat. The instructions said cotton setting, which is "6" on my iron. The 4 setting ended up working. Now how well they wash and if they stay on is another matter!

Yep, you are to hot, you can see the holes from the iron plate in the left ear.

I know the avery brand that I use, says to press in each section for a couple of seconds then keep it moving.
