T-shirt thoughts?

Okay - I think I kinda, sorta know how I am going to surprise the kids... and one of the ideas is a shirt. Hoping that some of you who have gone and had shirts made might have some thoughts on this and can give me some suggestions!

Dh is asked that I NOT use his picture - LOL - he does NOT want to be on the shirt, but is fine with me making the shirts. So I was thinking of a Disney character and something like "My Dad is on his 2 week R&R and we're going to Disney World"... or something like that. My plan is to make little packages or maybe a box for each of them and include a Disney gift card, a lanyard and a few pins, and their old autograph books I had saved from 4+ yrs ago. Not sure what else... still figuring it all out.

Any suggestions on the T-Shirt wording is appreciated - we want to tell them immediately after their dad gets home cause we will be leaving within a couple days of his return for his R&R... I have a couple weeks til I need to have these done - but I figure Christmas shopping is done - this is the next thing to get a jump on! Thanks in advance...

How about "My Daddy gets to come home from Iraq for 2 weeks of R&R and he's taking us to Disney World!" with the "classic" picture of Mickey saluting standing in front of the flag?
just a suggestion I made a shirt when my DH was on deployment and I went to WDW without him and it got a lot of attention
PS.. thanks to you and your family... I'm a navy wife, I always say I could never be an army/marines wife.. 6 months deployment is long enough. Enjoy your vacation!!

Congrats on your DH coming home for R&R!!!! That has to be so wonderful.

(I'm another military wife....Navy....my husband is a Seabee).

That was the shirt we wore for our celebration day of Daddy coming home from a year gone. It says "Watson family" in the ears and Celebration in flag fill under it. Millipie from Creative DISigns board did it for us.

Definately check the DISign boards- but be prepared- that place is ADDICTIVE!!
