I'm guessing most everyone is using just a standard tshirt.

Do any of you ever use the ladies & girls more fitted tshirts?

If yes what results have you gotten.

DD is very petite and regular tshirts just swallow her up. She looks better in a tshirt that is cut to be fitted (she so small that it doesn't really fit like it's intended to.....but it looks better than the huge bulky regular t's).

Thanks,
Cristy

I've made fitted tops... not tight tops... but 'ladies' styled.
They have come out very nice, but I do watch how big the DISign is.

The bigger DISigns..sometimes look out of balance (does that make sense??) However they can all be size adjusted to fit the area available.
The smaller ones (I made a beautiful name fill tee DISigned by Amy) like name fills and Mickey ears have been prettier on the fitted tee (or tank!!) than on a regular T-shirt!!

I make all of my personal shirts on v-neck tees (because I can't stand stuff up close to my neck) which are also usually a more tailored than Hanes tees, and I have been very happy with them

Not sure what age your daughter is, but I just made some Ts using the Geranimals brand at Walmart, I think they only go up to a 5T though. The girls Ts were really cute, cut narrower, cap sleeves, a little ruching at the neckline while the boys Ts were the standard cut. They came out great!

For my own Ts, I used a few different ones though none were standard mens Ts. I use the Hanes Classic Fit

Anvil fitted Ts (love them, but run VERY small)

And I used an Old Navy Ts

Did you put a small design on the front of the T for your daughter? If so, were you able to get it small enough, yet readable? My daughter is 2. I went to Wal-Mart last night and bought the exact T-shirts you're talking about. I'm wondering if I will be able to shirink the mouse heads with her name small enough to still be readable.

Here are two on the Geranimals girls Ts (red and turquoise):

That is probably what I need. She just turned 6 but can still wear a 5T.

Thanks so much!!!!!
