That's correct. When I hosted last year's t-shirt exchange, people received all sorts of shirts. Two that I remember off hand were for a local landmark, Man of the Mountain, this shirt was from back east somewhere. And another person received a shirt from a local town festival.
Some smaller towns don't have shirts with their names on them, that's why it's really open to the state you live in. Last year I mailed a shirt that I purchased at the Schlitterbaun Water Park to a DISer in Canada. We had visited there the weekend after I had opened the exchange and thought it was a good opportunity to pick up a shirt for someone.
My daughter received one last year from Scotland. She was very excited!
I hope that this gives a better idea on what should be sent.
The last thing that I need is another t-shirt, but would love to take part. Can I submit my Daughter's name instead?
Living near DC, we have a LOT of local shirts available. I'll have to search the board to see if I can figure out the political leaning of the person I get. Okay.....Maybe I should just stay far away from that.
Yes, in fact we have another DISer whose children are participating but she isn't.
There are a couple of people who have expressed interest in playing but haven't sent me a PM yet. I'll need the PM to put your name on the list. Hope that they decide to join us.
