If I buy the Avery dark transfer paper, does the image have to be flipped?

Selecting "iron-on transfer" on my printing option flips my image. So if I don't have to flip my image do I select "plain paper" instead?

Just want to confirm that "iron-on tranfer" just flips the image and nothing else.
