T-Rex

Well this was our third visit to Trex and it was great as usual, we were seated almost immediatley Fr night. We sat right outside the ice cave next to the baby mammoth and had a great view of the meteor shower. I ordered a cottontini (my must every visit) my DH had a cave man punch and step son had a coke in a big bone cup.

For my meal I had the footprint flatbread of the appetizer menu, it was HUGE! Chicken, parm, got cheese and mozerellla and sweet onion sauce dribbled on it, it was a big hit around the table, I shared and ate some and still had half left!

DH got the chicken fried steak and the steak filled the plate and hung over the sides!! IT was delicous, tender in the middle and perfectly seasoned and crisp on the outside!

Step son got the kids ribs which he devoured! We subbed waffle fries for 98 cents.

We had every intention of ordering the big volcano dessert but were too full! Great meal here as always, we have an ADR for our Sept trip as well..

I agree- we really loved TRex. We just returned from WDW and this was our first visit to TRex (although we've been to RFC many many times). I think TRex is better than RFC- food and otherwise.

I didn't take pics but I had the shrimp skewers, DH had the triple thing with steak, shrimp, scallops, and DS had the ribs as well. We shared the onion ring appetizer. DS had an icee in a big bone cup (souvenir).

For dessert, DS had ice cream and DH and I shared a piece of key lime pie (free since it was my bday!). We will definitely return again.

Good to hear! We have an ADR here for our upcoming September trip. I have heard great things about that cottontini, I definitely plan on ordering it! We've been to the Rainforest Cafe out in Atlantic City and that was a lot of fun, so we decided to try T-REX.
