What has the wait been like for t-rex on a weeknight. We are doing dtd on Thursday 11/20 and currently have an adr for captain jacks. we were thinking about trying t-rex instead. we don't have any kids so my future wife will be the only one afraid. :lmao:. we were thinking dinner but MIGHT consider lunch. I doubt it since we are leaning towards the Earl that day (mmmm sandwich).

We only had an hour wait last Sunday, October 19. We got on the wait list around 7:30, seated about 8:30. Our food took a while to arrive, but there is certainly enough to look at to keep you occupied. It's beautiful, with a meteor shower every half hour of so. It is quite loud in there though, not a relaxing meal, but my 6 year old had a blast!

Thanks for the update. I would think a Thursday would be even better than a Sunday but I'm sure we could put our names in and grab a beer or 3. ;)

My parents went this past Thursday and they just walked in and were seated right away. Went back on Saturday and had some problems. They waited for quite awhile and when my dad inquired he was told they were letting big parties in first and since they were just 2 people they had to wait. He got the manager involved and she said she had just told the person at the front not to do that. The manager was great and got them seated and taken care of immediately but I wanted people to know this happened.

We were there on Thurs. 10/21 for a later lunch and there was no wait. The food was pretty good for that type of restuarant (Americian Chain food) and the dino's were fun, if pretty loud. Where you are seated can have a lot to do with what you see though. I had a nice view of a big dino butt throughout lunch

Funny. We have an ADR at Captain Jack's but have decided to skip it in lieu of T-Rex as well. I'm hoping if we get there a little earlier, the wait won't be too bad.

Have you don captain jack's before? We have not been there yet either.
