No, it is not a replacement, it is owned I believe by Landry's that own Rainforest, nothing like Restaurantasaurous or however it is spelled!!!

I called the KC location and they gave a date of November 1 for opening. We'll have to see if that happens

To make a reservation at RC DTD, you have to call them directly. You can get the # on their website I suppose, or I think if you call WDW-DINE they can give it to you as well.
