We are myself, DH, DD(7), and DS(6). This would be for our lunch on the last day before driving to the airport. Not getting a chance to visit AK this trip, so I thought having lunch at Sanaa might be good. However, it seems like T-REX may be more fun for the kids. :confused3 Would love to hear some opinions. Thanks.

Sanaa!!!
Much better food -infact I think some of the best quality food on WDW property. Go early and visit the different animal savannahs at the lodge. During your meal your server will give the kids guides to check off the different animals they see while eating. My whole family loves Sanaa.

T-Rex has fun theming but the food is just ok and it is very very loud. We have been there once and did not like it enough to go again.

Saana.

We have done T-Rex once and it was more than enough for me. It was waaaay too loud and over-stimulating and the food was just ok. We did it for my son the one time but he is on his own if he wants to go back anytime soon:lmao:

Thank you so much for posting this. I had never heard of Sanaa but now have booked it for our trip. Our kids will love it!

I did Sanaa and T-Rex this trip. Sanaa was my favourite last trip and we were keen to return. T- Rex was very noisy but I was really pleased with the food. The portions were really good and the desserts were good. At Sanaa I actually didn't like my dessert and didn't eat it. We waited 40 mins for our ADR and then got a table where we couldn't see the animals. The server did not offer any guide or chat to our children who both love animals. I also think it strange that in all the other TS restaurants you get bread brought but at Sanaa you need to pay for the bread. You can visit and see the animals at AKL or Kidani village without dining at Sanaa.

Taking everyone's suggestions, I've decided to try Sanaa. Princess Leia sorry to hear you didn't enjoy it as much last time. I made an ADR for as soon as they open and we'll go there early so we can request a table by the window.

Don't worry - it will certainly be a lot quieter. We didn't have a bad meal we just had such a good one on our previous trip. Definitely try and get a window table it makes such a difference. We liked the main courses - I particularly liked the Durban chicken. Enjoy your trip.
