T-Rex or Rainforest Cafe ?

I have a DS (2 1/2) and was wondering which restaurant would be better.

He loves dinos but I'm afraid he may get scared.

I would love some input about the food and atmosphere at both restaurants.

T-Rex hands down! Better atmosphere & food. I don't think it's scary at all. My five year was not the least bit scared.

TRex is wonderful. So much fun, atmosphere is great. Food is so delish as well. Rainforest can be found anywhere, whereas TRex is more unique. I think you should try TRex. When you check in, ask them not to be placed in the iceroom. Thats the loudest (but coolest) room, when there's a meteor shower, they play loud dinosaur noises. If he's sensitive to noise it might scare him. But if your sitting in the regular section he should be fine.

Just tried T-Rex for the first time last Saturday. It was so fun and the food was really good. I would definitely suggest T-Rex! Have fun!

Thanks for the suggestions. I will make sure and ask them not to place us in the ice room. He is sensitive to noise. He cries at birthday parties when we sing Happy Birthday.

Honestly, im not sure I would go to TRex in that case. You can hear the dinosaurs roar no matter where you sit. If singing at bday parties make him cry, I cannot imagine what this will do to him. Just a suggestion. Of course you know best.

Both are pretty good choices, we ate a both this past trip.

I found Rainforest to be far louder than T-Rex, and I didn't like the food as much.

T-Rex had more food choices that I liked, and there was some roaring and meteor showers, but I did find it far better than Rainforest Cafe.
