T-REX or Rainforest Cafe at AK?

We have a gift card to use next trip at either one. At first I was leaning towards T-REX since we have a RFC here in CT. However, it is 90 minutes away, we have never been there, and most likely won't be in that area of CT for any reason.

DD5 loves animals but T-REX does look pretty cool. We also have no TS meals on our AK day so RFC for lunch would fit in nicely. I also have a hard time getting DH over to DTD and really want to try WPE. If I pick T-REX I most likely won't get to try WPE or EOS.

Is the food better at one over the other? Thanks!

I haven't eaten at the RFC at WDW (either of them) but I have been to the one in Minneapolis a few times. The food is good, and I enjoy the ambiance. However, when it comes time to make ADR's, T-REX always wins with our family. The dinosaur theme is sort of "larger than life" and feels more exciting to us.

We found the food to be very similar, price and quality wise, at T-REX and RFC.
