I agree, the tables in this place are fairly close together. Not really the type of place they could let people dine and also allow others to walk around and just look. It would be a total mad house.

If you really want to see it, budget in the amount for lunch or dinner. It is worth it and can be done on a decent budget.

The OP asked if people were permitted to go inside and look around.... they weren't asking how to sneak in or how to skirt the rules.

I'd much rather people ask if a particular thing is permitted rather then have them just wing it and cause a problem on their trip.

Thank you Iron Giant! I didn't get to add the rest of my post as I realized I put it in the wrong forum. No, I didn't want to walk around while everyone was eating, just heard there was a make your own dinosaur thing inside and thought it would be fun to do that and get a glimpse of the restaurant to see if it was someplace we'd want to dine on our next visit...

We were there yesterday. They had a 3 appetizer deal for 17.99 (a lot of food-chicken and cheese quesadillas, bruschetta, onion rings, chili cheese dip with tortillas), and you could get a side of ribs for 4.99. My family of 3 got that and shared, and we had food leftover. It was really good!

I asked the hostess if I could go in and take pictures during a relatively quiet time and she said it was no problem. I obviously tried to stay out of the way of servers and tried not to disrupt diners. One of the back rooms was completely empty. There were also a lot of other diners wandering around posing with and taking pictures in each of the different rooms. When we went back and ate later, the server told us to feel free to explore the different areas and take pics. So, maybe?

When I visited in January of this year T-Rex was fairly new, so lots of people would step inside to peek. We walked around while we waited on the meal to check out the place, but otherwise I wouldn't have gone in just because there were so many people!
