Call the restaurant directly at 407 828 8739 I always have bettr luck this way..

TREX gives Disney very little of their "reservation" allotment so you'll almost never find it available through the online dining reservations or even calling Disney. But call the restaurant directly as the pp said and you won't have a problem getting the time you want most likely.

We have called them directly the last few times we have gone and have never had a problem. You can ever request what type of room you would like to eat in. WE are trying the Ice room this time. Hope this goes well for you.

I've heard quite a few people talking about this sort of thing before and I guess that my family and I have been very lucky ... or just gone at the right time ... or both but we have never made a reservation for either T-Rex or RainForest.

We always eat at at least one of the above restaurants at least once every vacation and we have never made reservations before. I think the maximum time we have waited for a table was 30 minutes.

I am NOT advising anyone to forgo reservations because I'd hate to see somebody miss out on something they really wanted to do because I gave poor advice ... I'm just saying.

This has been our experience, too. But generally we get there right after the restaurant opens for lunch and have been able to basically walk right in for both places. Now I'm not saying that you should do the same, just pointing out that it is possible to just go to the restaurant and see what is available.

My 180 day mark for my Sept/Oct trip was this morning. I made all my ADRs online including a lunch reservation for T Rex at 12:30pm for my arrival day with no problems. It offered me three different times in fact.

I would call them directly too....RFC always seems to have openings later in the game but not TRex. I have gotten the exact time I wanted by calling

We just returned from Disney and walked right up to TRex and just put our name on the list. We walked around for about an hour (easy to do at Downtown Disney) and got buzzed. We waited about an hour and I didn't even think you could get a reservation at Trex, good to know because my kids loved it.

The ice cave look like a fun place to sit. We sat right outside of the ice caves before and wished we were actually in the caves itself. Here is a picture of it that I found..
