T-Rex Cafe reservation info

I called 407-WDW-DINE to find out if I can make an ADR for T-Rex Cafe ... I read rumors in past months that there would be the ability to do this some time in the new year, and just figured I'd call to ask.

The CM I spoke with said they don't handle T-Rex reservations, and asked if I wanted the phone number for T-Rex.

Now, this information doesn't necessarily mean anything to me, as CMs in the call centers are often the last to know info about upcoming changes or stuff like that.

So then I called T-Rex directly. The woman at T-Rex said that they don't currently accept reservations, but that they will beginning January 5, 2009. I asked if this will be through Disney or through the DTD T-Rex location directly, and she said that they at T-Rex will be handling the reservations themselves.

So, the bottom line appears to be that starting 1/5/09 we can call T-Rex Cafe directly to make dining reservations. No word on how far in advance they will take reservations.

Sorry thats not new info:] CRO will not handle reservations you do have to call Trex directly and theyre only doing walk ups until january

This is the same way Landry's handles the Rainforest Cafe at DTD. They take reservations, but not through Disney. The restaurant must be contacted directly.

There are several posts reporting now that T-Rex will start taking reservations January 5. You must call the restaurant directly.

The Rainforest Cafe at AK takes reservations through Disney - I believe Yak & Yeti does also. It's the Downtown Disney Landry's locations that must be contacted directly.

Just made reservations at T-rex Cafe for April 09. I called the restaurant directly and had my pick of times. Good luck. The phone number is in this thread
