Are you able to make ADR's for this yet? Will it be mostly for boys or do you think girls would enjoy this too?

Last I heard, it was supposed to open in September but the date has been "pushed back". They can't take reservations until they have a definate opening date.

But, yes...I have a girl and a boy and I think they will both love the restaurant once it opens. I'm hoping anyway. It sounds like a cool concept!

Our 7 year old DD *loves* the T-Rex Cafe here in Kansas City! :cool1: And so do I! The food is excellent!:thumbsup2

My 12 year old DD loves the one here in KC also! I have also taken my 6 year old nephew and 2 year old niece and they loved it.

Thanks. Wonder if the Dining plan will be accepted.....

It is run by the same company that runs Rainforest Cafe, so I boubt they will accept the Dining Plan. Thye do have their own "discount" club, and I think they do the Disney dining Experience discount for AP holders.

I understand it will be open sometime in October. When we were there 3 weeks ago, it was barely taller than the fencing, so they have a long way to go.

We have also been to the one in KC. It can be really intense for some children. There were lots of kids that were really scared. Just an FYI if you have children that are a bit scared of things.

I spoke to someone at Rainforest Cafe a couple of days ago and they are still saying Fall 2008, and they are not taking reservations as of yet, but the others are right, it is almost exactly the same as Rainforest Cafe as far as the food goes, and it will not be on the dining plan and you will probably have to call them directly for reservations.

We tried making an ADR for T-Rex for our upcoming Dec. trip and got denied. ;) They aren't taking ADRs yet and they didn't have an opening date that they were willing to share with us.

my kids love it (2 daughters 11 and 9 and 1 son age 5)
there were scared kids around us there is a "meteor shower" every once in a while and the dino's make loud dino noises (you'd think the world was ending... oh wait maybe it was for them haha) I don;t think it is any louder than the monkeys and elephants at rainforest but I do have to say my oldest dd was scared of those Monkeys for a long time :goodvibes
