T-Rex and large group?

Hi, we'll be there 9/7-9/14 with free dining, and are planning to go to T-Rex OOP for my dino-obsessed 4 year old. I'm planning on a Saturday night, because we have tons of local family down there we'd like to see. We thought the easiest way to see them without giving up vacation time was to invite whomever would like to come to join us for this meal, since they wouldn't need park tickets.

My question is, has anyone ever planned a meal here for a large group (think 20). If so, how did it work? If I call 90 days out, can I get a ressie for this large of a group? Any advice would be much appreciated. I wanted to see how hard this will be before we extend the invites! This is going to be the absolute biggest part of my ODS's trip, and I don't want there to be snafus that would mess it up for him!

I would say the best idead is to call and make a reservation. However, when I called to make our ressie they said it was first come first serves, that means that even though we have a ressie we will be seated as soon as a table for 7 is available.
