Just saw that they are adding this for Star Wars weekends. Does anyone know if you can see the show and hear the music from outside the front gates anywhere? I have an annual pass but also have 2 kids that it would be easier to stay out of the craziness.

Yes. Just outside the front gates.

Hello map master, do you have a map to show good viewing locations for Symphony in the Stars? We are trying to coordinate getting between Fantasmic! at 9:00 then when its over find a place to view the fireworks show. We don't need A+ prime but a good B- spot would work :teacher: so we could see the show and music, and if possible not be in between wall to wall people. We will have a group of 8 with developmental disabilities and one in a wheelchair. The other option is fireworks first and then F! but we would be missing out on our F! dinner package location... :confused3

It really depends on how they unload the Fant guests. On high crowd days, the guests walk through the backstage area and re-enter near the stroller rental area. If you can still find a space with a good view of the Hat, you will have a view of the fireworks.

If you aren't unloaded to the front of the park, then you will walk backstage and enter on the side street next to Beauty and the Beast show. From there, it will be more difficult to find a spot. If Hollywood Blvd. is crowded, you can try near Echo Lake or even the Star Tours area.

Should I assume Hollywood Blvd near the entrance will be wall to wall people?

By the time Fant ends at approximately 9:30 and by the time your group can maneuver out of the amphitheater, yes, Hollywood Blvd. will be packed. If the street is packed, they may unload Fant onto the side street next to Beauty and the Beast and then you'll have to head towards Hollywood Blvd. to get a view of the fireworks.

Do you think it would be easier to manage crowds to do F! after the fireworks? We do have the F! Dinner package so we would be giving up the special seating to do the 2nd show.

That's what the recommended plan is on the SWW thread. You'll need to find an area that isn't too far from Sunset Blvd., or, look for a viewing area specifically for wheelchairs.

Do you mean do F! after, does anyone know where a wheelchair area is?

With your group and one person in a wheelchair, it will be difficult either way. If your group really wants to see the fireworks, do that first and then go to Fant. You may want to secure Fp+ for your group so that you are assured of seats in the Fp+ area especially because wheelchair seating is in the main walkway at the top of each seating section.

if you forego the first Fant, then get Fp+ for the 2nd Fant. Dinner Package only reserves seats for the first show. If you choose the first Fant, then don't count on getting a good view of the fireworks with your large group.
