What is your opinion on the "miss/don't miss" quotient of Hyperspace Hoopla (the 7PM grand finale). DNeph (7) and I were looking at the schedule and planning out our SW days - he got really excited about this event, but I have already planned to visit other parks and have a couple of nice dinners in the evenings (my plan already has us at MGM all 3 days until mid afternoon). If he sees the AM parade and has plenty of time for pics and autographs with the characters is there anything 'don't miss' about this show that I should return to MGM one night for? (we will definitely be leaving for a swim/nap each day or I'll never keep up with him in the summer heat  ).

And while I'm getting opinions . . . what did anyone think of "The Hasbro Zone" and the "Celebrity Talk Show" - interesting for a 7 yo or no? :smooth:
TIA !!

Thanks for the link, safetymom - but the SWW was for Star Wars Weekend - all these abbreviations are confusing !! :smooth:

:flower: We never did get around to attending the Hyperspace Hoopla! The Hasbro zone was mainly tables set up where people could play with the Attacktix action figures. I played a few rounds with DS9, then DH did...not really exciting, but it seemed to be a nice, shaded break from the crowds. We attended the Celebrity Q&A and DS actually lined up and got to ask Daniel Logan a question---which was a big thrill for him. They have "storm troopers" doing a very funny pre-show bit with the audience that we videotaped. I'd say it was definately worth it. One thing you nephew may really like is participating in the Jedi Training Academy--lots of fun! It seemed like they picked most kids who were nearest the ropes---and tried to get them from the whole circumference...so, if it looks like lots of kids are in one section, I'd move down the line--staying in the front--to a less kid-filled area.

We had a blast!

The Hyperspace Hoopla is quite a bit of fun, especially if you like characters; kind of like a parade that doesn't move. I'd definetly pencil that in to see. Hasbro Zone is just a distraction area and I wouldn't waste too much time there. The Q&A is interesting, esp for folks who are really into Star Wars. I think casual fans might not find it as interesting, but of course, it depends on the celebrities who are there.
