Switching Terms

I was just wondering...if you request Fall Advantage during your phone interview and are accepted for FA, can you change your mind and switch to just Fall instead? Or are you stuck with FA or nothing? Just curious

I think you could just pick the very last date possible when it asks you to pick one. If you've already picked a check in day I believe you're locked in for that day. Sometimes they will send emails asking if you will backup your check in day though. They did to more for Fall 2010 I checked in the 1st of September they offered move it back to the 6th. Some people took it some didn't.

Yes, I'm wondering too. I really want to be in this program but I have an internship offer for the summer as well. Who could I talk to about this?

I applied for Fall and was accepted for Fall and decided not to take summer classes so I called yesterday to ask is switching to Fall Advantage was possible and she pulled my file up and said I could be switched and put in the request for me and now I'm waiting for it to process so I can go online and pick my new arrival date. It depends on what role you have I think, if it's a role with a lot of spaces like Merch or Attractions I think it shouldn't be a problem as long as you call soon.

I called the recruiting number on the one sheet in the purple folder. When I log in, my term has changed but my dates have not, and I have not gotten a prompt to change my dates yet but she said it could take 48 hours, so if not tomorrow then I'll need to call again.

Called today to switch from FA to Fall. The guy on the line was really nice and I'm just waiting for a recruiter to get back to me. So hopefully this will work out!

There was a glitch in my switch where my term was switched but it didn't process right, I was about to call them today about my date change and they called me first! So everything for me is all done and processed and correct so I'm going on June 6th now instead of August 10th.

It seems like I can't switch unless I want to go from Vacation Planner to Quick Service. I'm far more excited about the VP role though and I don't want to give that up.

Well if you'd be happier in VP I'd stick with that instead of switching to a role that you'd be less happy with knowing you could have had the role you wanted. Though I don't know the nature of your summer internship though.

I think I'm sticking to VP, but now I have to decide between an unpaid financial analyst internship or the DCP. Oh well I guess VP might be harder to switch because there's only like 30 or so of us, or so I've heard.
