Switching Rooms

I just purchased DVC and booked our first trip for May 2010 at BLT. The first three days are MK View and the last are BL view. Has anyone switched rooms in the middle of their stay...if so what are your experiences good and bad? I have a 6 year old and a 1 year old and we did this to save some points and see the difference between the views for future trips.

The only problem might be that check out time is 11:00 AM and Check in time is 4:00 PM. If your room isn't ready, you will have to check your luggage with Bell Services.

The only holdup you might have in changing rooms is the check-out time and the check-in time. You should be out of our first room at 11 am and it is possible that the second room will not be available until 4 pm.

You can store you luggage with Bell Services and they can deliver to your new room when you have checked in and are in your room.

We did it last time and it was fine. Rooms are usually ready before 4pm-- so just plan your park time before hand and make sure you dont need to be at the resort during the transition.

We have done it. I don't like not having a room for several hours especially if you have little ones that need a nap, or if someone doesn't feel well and needs a place to rest.

We have lots of times. We always like to spend one night at AKL and then on to somewhere else. we have never had a problem. They have held our luggage or whatever.
