Hi, all!

If this isn't in the correct place, mods, please move it to where it should be.

So my family has an upcoming trip for Labor day (Aug 31 - Sept 4), and we originally had been planning on staying at AKL:Jambo, but due to the pool closure there, we switched out to VGF.

However, we couldn't get all four nights in one room type, so we ended up booking a standard 1 bedroom villa for the first 3 nights, and then are switching to a two bedroom villla for the last night.

We've done split stays in the past (Dec 2017 and Apr 2018), so we know the process for between two different resorts. What changes when you're switching within the same resort?

We are planning on spending the morning of Sept 3 at MK, then will head back to VGF, swim, try to switch to the 2 bedroom villa, before heading back to MK for MNSSHP that night. Will this be feasible for us?

Thanks all

The only thing that changes should be that instead of having bell services transport your bags to the new resort, you only have to store your bags when you check out of the first room. It would also be a good idea to physically check out of the first room and check in to the second room so that there's no problem with the MBs.

I would have MS add "continuing reservation" note to both reservations. That way the room assigner will know that you are just moving rooms, with some luck they may be able to move you from one room into the other without storing your luggage. Also you may want yo check out the DDP for the last night. Often the deluxe plan can save you some money if only used for one day/night.

Thanks, Bill for the suggestion. I’ll have my sister send an email their way when she can since she’s the one that made the reservation. (We both own the contracts.)
