Switching resorts

Is there any penalty for changing resorts? How about adding a day?

Should be no penalty for changing resort as long as if it is there & before the 45day mark. And you can add a day if they have it Good luck

On one trip I checked into the Beach Club and hated it. I went down to the front desk and asked if I could switch to the Polynesian (which I always love). They checked, the Poly had availability and because the rooms prices were the same, I was able to switch. There were no additional fees.

I've switched resorts 4 times now since I first booked last week! As long as you change resorts before the 45 day mark you're o.k. They won't charge you until you pass the 45 day mark, and then you will incur fees for lowering the cost of your trip.

Sometimes they will let you change after the 45 days depending how many days over IF YOU ARE UPGRADING or rather Disney will get more money. This is what I was told last December. But call & ask.

45 day mark? Isn´t that only if you´ve got a package booked? Not for room only reservations is it?
