 We are staying at the All Stars Movie and have to move to the Pop Century during our stay. Has anyone ever move to a different resort during their vacation? Was it easy to do or is it a problem?

We split our stay up this past January. We were going to be arriving on January 1st and I decided we should be at Disney for NYE. So I booked one night at VWL and then we moved to BWV. It was a bit of a hassle. We hadn't really unpacked alot of our clothing but I really needed more time to take advantage of all that the WL had to offer. If you are splitting your trip up somewhere in the middle it would probably be okay. I found it hard to leave WL after the one night. I'm assuming you are bringing your own transportation. We ended up renting a cab and that cost us about $20 w/ tip. You have a much smaller distance to travel but it looks like you have a larger family, so a cab might be a little pricy. I think you can also take ME to transfer from one resort to another, but you may need to make reservations to do that, not quite sure. In any event, you are staying on Disney property and that makes the trip so much more. I love being surrounded by Disney during my entire trip. Have a great vacation!

we've switched from the pop to CB resort, although the cast members were helpful (as always), it wasted our whole morning because of check-out/in and getting settled at CB resort...
but, we really enjoyed staying at the two different hotels:)

Too much work for me to switch resorts! I'm on vacation-vacation means the least amount of work involved for me!

I had to do this once. we just left our packed bags in the room and went to the park...
Staff did the rest. We just picked up our new key at the next hotel.

1) We have done split stays previously.
2) I know several people that like to do it.
3) We won't do it again - at least by choice.
4) It isn't that hard, but
. . . you have to pack and unpack twice
. . . you have to check-out and check-in
. . . you have to get bell services to move the luggage, or you do it yourself
5) I am on vacation.
6) I don't want all the stress and bother of splitting resorts.
